Last night I set my alarm in anticipation of starting my day right. Obviously my hopes for myself were a bit too high because the alarm went off and I hit snooze. Ten minutes later the alarm went off, again I hit the snooze. This happened twice more until finally in a sleepy state of mind set the alarm for a later time, a MUCH later time! So now instead of having the excuse "I'm so tired because I barely had any sleep" I have to explain how I'm tired because I OVER slept.
Now I understand how some of you are probably thinking "Oh poor girl she over slept. Lucky little brat" and yes I completely agree with that statement. But let me explain something to give you a more clear reason to why over sleeping makes me tired. When I was 7 I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. This basically means that my immune system has been fighting with itself, in turn cause me painful swollen joints. Over the years I have become more able to manage my disease, but that mean getting just the right amount of sleep , along with medication, exercise and balanced meals. If I get too little or too much sleep I get tired very quickly. Now you understand why oversleeping makes me tired.
Well now I have to get ready to go to Easter dinner with my boyfriends family. I need to start getting myself more prepared for these things, because all I've done since I woke up is drag my feet and stare into space. Looks like I must face the day and pull myself into a presentable human being. Wish me luck!
